Wailing Widow Falls is located in Northwestern Scotland. The falls is sourced by a burn running from Loch Gainmhich. They are located between the Kylesku Bridge and Assynt. I am currently making a video about our hike to these falls which was not a very easy one. When we were there it was pouring rain and a muddy mess. We will be going back there again with hopefully less precipitation to get additional drone footage this winter. I would say that for a young person the hike is average, but to someone older, treacherous, especially if it is raining or has seen a lot of rainfall. These falls are magnificent, especially in the Fall, but then again all of the Scottish Highlands are unimaginably exquisite in the Fall. As with all waterfalls the esthetics are very dependent on the water flow from their source. For that reason we planned this trip in the Fall after the seasonal rainfall in the UK picks up considerably. I love Scotland and in fact relocated there near the Scottish Highland area. I have wandered this world from a very early age and I see that situation never ending. In all of my years, a place I call "home" has eluded me, but finally I have found a home in Scotland. There is no more beautiful place with it's amazing culture and history. It is a never ending adventure.
