This castle is quite foreboding as one observes the island it occupies in the the tidal islet on Loch Laich. Castle Stalker is believed to have been built sometime in the 1440's much as it is seen today by Sir John Stewart. The castle has a long and dramatic history that is quite intriguing if one is interested in researching it.
