Me and Moira stopped at Clonony and met the owner, Rebecca Armstrong. This is a wonderful castle. It is steeped in history and is supposed to be haunted. This castle at one time belonged to Thomas Boleyn, given to him by King Edward VIII when he wanted to marry his daughter Anne. Mary and Elizabeth Boleyn were second cousins to Queen Elizabeth the 1st and lived in this castle until their deaths. When one died the other was so grieved she leaped to her death from an upper level window. Their graves are still on the property.
