Virgin Falls, in Middle Tennessee, about 80 miles east of Nashville, is a pretty amazing place. Lots of cool hiking and wonderful landscapes and riverscapes. In fact, to get to these falls you can plan on a day trip of not so easy hiking. It's a beautiful hike, especially in the fall, but not for the out of shape. I hiked in this area several times over a two year period and created a great deal of art from those hikes. Here is just one of them.
